God's Limit

I know that Solomon tells us over and over in Ecclesiastes that there is nothing new under the sun, but it sure seems like the world is being thrust even further into darkness and evil.

We are truly living in a Romans 1:18-32 kind of world. God has given people over to 'dishonorable passions'. I try to keep my focus on things beyond here, but it just breaks my heart that more and more people are being pulled into this delusion of worshipping the creature rather than the Creator under the guise of "diversity and inclusivity". We're getting further and further down the rabbit hole of loss of humanity and shame.

Satan is twisting this in all of our heads by feeding us this lie that we just need to let people live whatever life they want; it shouldn't effect us. Wake up guys! It's our duty and responsibilities as Christians to spread the gospel as far and as wide as we can. We need to stop looking at this with the primary focus of trying to fight bad people and shift our view to what's really going on - a battle for souls. Satan has already lost the war, but now he's battling for as many souls as he can take down with him. This war is not AGAINST our fellow man, but FOR our fellow man.

There is no doubt that what's going on in our culture is pure sin. People can rename it whatever they want, but it doesn't change what it is. It's been going on since the beginning of creation. When Adam and Eve decided for themselves what was right, humanity came off the rails. I wonder so many times how far God will allow this to go. At what point will we be like Sodom and Gomorrah and He'll have had enough? Unfortunately, there's nowhere that we can go to escape the evil. Other countries are already further down this road than we are, which is terrifying! But what this should do is give us even more of a reason for the hope that is not here. The hope of heaven!

People have truly lost their minds in our current world. Everything is a means to an end of dividing and conquering. If it's not race, it's gender. If it's not gender, it's everything else. What is the world coming to when a man can lose a job opportunity when he addresses an email to women and is told the term "ladies" is oppressive and insulting? What is the world coming to when people are fighting to MUTILATE and MAME children all under the name of progressivism? What is the world coming to when politicians are more worried about keeping their power and control than doing what is right for everyone? Neither side of the aisle are innocent and everyone seems to have lost their sense of shame. Nothing is wrong or right anymore. It's all about who is louder and who has more power to push their agenda. It's also about which agenda has more votes.

I seriously doubt the first leaders of our country had this in mind when they met to create this country and set forth writing laws and rules. How about, instead of wondering what our forefathers would have thought and finding shame there, we look at how our True Creator is thinking and feeling about the direction our world is going in?! I will tell you that the Bible is chock full of example after example and straight explanations about how God feels about things. For example, how does God feel about people trying to push agendas on children about destroying their bodies because they "feel" different? Proverbs tells us:

"There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death."

Matthew also tells us:

"...whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea."

If you think that this agenda of underage "transgender affirmation treatment" is not sin, you haven't truly thought about it. The whole idea of transgenderism is basically a slap in God's face. People are essentially telling God that He created them wrong. God does not get things wrong. When you tell a child that they were made the wrong gender, you convince them that God makes mistakes. He doesn't. This gives them the delusion that God is flawed and that there is no absolute right or wrong; morals don't exist and it's all about how you feel that should guide you. This only leads to what we're dealing with now and what the Israelites dealt with in the book of Judges - everyone did what was right in their own eyes. We know where that leads (back to Proverbs).

My hope is not in this world, but I still have to live in it. I try to live peaceably with people and try to look for opportunities to let God's light shine in grace. I am coming to a point in my life when my faith will be truly tested. Our world tells us that showing "love" means letting people do whatever they want and accepting them as they are. God tells us that "love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth." Truth is not a relative concept. Me showing someone true love is by showing them truth. Truth about sin. Truth about Jesus. Truth about eternal salvation.

It doesn't take a genius to follow common sense and see where all this ridiculousness is headed. It's common sense that even if people chop off body parts and take medicine to change their hormones, their DNA never changes. XY is always a man and XX is always a woman. God creates people in His image, which is perfect. He has a plan for each person who is created and we have no business in trying to tell the Creator of all things that he made a mistake. All throughout history in the bible and written history of the world, we see time and time again that when people push out God, bad things happen. God is either trying to use it as a way to wake people up to get them to repent and turn back to Him, or He uses it to wipe them out. God does not tolerate evil or sin. He is patient, but His patience does have a limit. I pray fervently that His limit is not near and that we can somehow figure out how to turn around before it's too late.

"For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."

God have mercy on us.
