Burning the midnight oil...
To say that we had an interesting night/morning would be an understatement.
After multiple warnings all weekend of the threat of impending weather, Mr. James Spann was right again. Granted, it wasn't even close to the devastation of April 2010, but to the people who were affected, it was still a disaster : ( Rory and I had a couple of friends who were close to the worst parts but, by the grace of God, escaped the worst with only minimal damage to their house. Others were not so lucky....
This pic is courtesy of Mr. James Spann. This damage was done about 20 miles from where me and Rory live. What made it worse was that it hit at 3:30 in the morning : / Needless to say, I stayed up ALL night glued to the weather channel!
Thank God no one we knew was injured. Now begins the process of rebuilding...again.
