Here's to the future

So things are finally starting to get in somewhat of a routine again...Lily is now sleeping in her crate at night, which helps Rory and me to actually get some sleep! Her first two nights, we tried just letting her sleep on her mat, but the second night, I kept waking up to find her in random spots chewing on cords and other 'no-nos'. She is getting better at potty training, but we still haven't gotten used to her tells. She's random about what she does when she needs to go to the bathroom. Sometimes, she'll walk up to the door and stand there. Other times, she walk BY the door and then start sniffing everything! Sometimes, she just goes without any warning. We're trying to get her in a routine of going when she wakes up in the morning, before we leave for work, when we come home from work (she stays in the bathroom while we're gone and has a pee pad in there), after she eats, then before we go to bed. Since she's only 4 months old, we've been advised to take her out every 30 min to an hour. Sometimes, she makes it longer than that, but usually, its around that time frame. She's such a mess but we love her so much!!! She's our baby for now : )

We've also been planning a MAJOR vacation in two years. The group of people from our church that went to Ireland this past year (including my mom) are planning to go to Greece in March 2013! Rory and I have decided that we want to go so we're getting all our money in order and trying to figure out how much we will need to pay every month to get to go. I've always wanted to go to Greece and this is my chance!!! We also decided that this could be our last big HORRAY before we start a family : ) Lord willing, it won't be long after that before we do! Hopefully, Lily won't get too jealous when the time comes ; )
