Lily Guthrie : )

Well, she's here! Lily Guthrie is officially ours : ) And she is a mess! It's only been 2 days and I'm already dead tired and ready to pull my hair out! haha! She's precious but, of course, gets into everything! She's in the chewing stage and will chew anything she can get her mouth on...including Rory and me : ) She did really good when we first got her and slept the whole way from Florence and ALL night saturday night! She's doing pretty good on potty training, but we're having to reteach her to let us know when she needs to go outside so we've had a few accidents. I have to keep reminding myself that she'll get better. She's still exploring our house too and finding all these good hiding places haha! We had a group of people from church over last night for Will's birthday and she did pretty good. We kept taking her outside cuz we didn't want her to pee right in the middle of the floor with everyone there. When everyone started leaving, we wanted to take her out one more time before we went to bed and, bless her heart, she was scared stiff from the storms that were blowing in. I love her to death! : ) For now, we're ganna try to keep crate training her (her foster family started) until she's comfortable enough with staying in her bed all night. Rory and I were laughing and talking this morning about how neither of us got much sleep last night but that we would have got less had she been an actual kid! We'll be waiting a while on that one ; )
